Colief® Infant Drops are completely natural and break down lactose into simpler sugars, glucose and galactose, making it easier for your baby to digest their feeds and reducing their discomfort.
The drops are suitable for use from birth onwards, even in premature babies.
They can be used at every feed until the baby is around three to four months old.
At this point in time, the baby’s body should be able to produce enough lactase enzyme on its own and the amount of Colief added to milk can be gradually withdrawn.
However, if symptoms persist you can continue to use Colief® Infant Drops for as long as it is needed.

Infant Formula
Make up the baby’s feed carefully according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Add 4 drops of Colief to formula that is warm (not hot).
Shake the feed occasionally, and feed the baby after half an hour, having checked that the bottle is at the correct feeding temperature.
Discard any unused feed.
Breast Feeding
Express a few tablespoons of breast milk into a small sterilised container.
Add 4 drops of Colief.
Give to the baby on a sterilized, plastic spoon.
Continue breastfeeding as normal.
